Welcome to Jared Karol Music

Jared Karol is a fingerstyle guitarist and songwriter based in Oakland, CA. He plays in a number of almagamations, otherwise referred to loosely as bands or groups.

While the Kennebunkport Symphony Orchestra may only exist on record, there are now a couple offshoots. The acoustic duo, The Lid Flippers, is made up of Jared Karol and Ted Silverman, playing part blues, part bluegrass, part old-timey. . .okay, a lot of parts, and a variety of instrumentation; and then there's the brand new duo (sometimes trio) The Oh Yeahs! Learn about them here. Jared also plays harmonica in the fabulously irreverent band Tiny Strips of Heart Tissue.
